Gannett Fleming is looking for an experienced **Project Manager****:

- Transit & Rail
- Civi**l, responsible for all aspects of client and design-team management of commuter transit and rail projects to take on a significant role in the GTA region.

Specific responsibilities include coordinating the planning and design and process as well as managing the development of plans, specifications and construction estimate packages. Additionally, this individual will be viewed as a key party to serve as a high-level point of contact between the client and Gannett Fleming.

**Primary duties would be including**:

- Serve as a Project Manager, including all aspects of client and design-team management of light rail, subway, and commuter rail projects. Manage the preparation of plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates. Plan, organize, and supervise project teams to ensure good contract performance.
- Have full managerial responsibility for all aspects of the project including scope development, contract negotiations, cost control, staff management, quality control and cash management.
- Actively manage client’s budget, schedule and program, project communications and documentation.
- Coordinates work efforts and reviews work performed and all project plans.
- Responsible for managing and delivering quality civil transportation projects on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer Designation (P. Eng) is required
- 15+ years’ progressive experience in the planning, design, management and implementation of rail and transit related projects.
- Demonstrated experience with city of Toronto infrastructure, TRCA, MTO, and other key stakeholders for rapid rail and transit protects.
- Experience managing successful, profitable large rail transit projects is required
- Demonstrated experience with roads, utilities, and other civil works in the context of a rail and transit project
- Experience working as part of owner's team in high pace large rail and transit projects
- Successful track record with experience in Ontario with an emphasis on working in the Greater Toronto Region
