**IT Advisor (IT Configuration & Asset Specialist)**

Annual salary: $ 107,000.00 - 135,300.00
**What you'll do**
- Develop, manage, and mature ITAM processes, implementing tools to manage risk and optimize the lifecycle of IT assets,
establishing and operating a ITAM governance model.
- Establish processes to gather and maintain a comprehensive inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and
licenses.
- Ensure compliance with asset management policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to ensure alignment of ITAM activities with business needs.
- Educate stakeholders and end-users on IT asset management policies, procedures, and best practices to promote
awareness and compliance.
- Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and metrics to senior management to demonstrate the effectiveness of ITAM
initiatives and drive decision-making.
- Responsible to manage the configuration database (CMDB) to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of technology
configurations. It involves developing and maintaining CMDB processes, policies, and standards, as well as collaborating
with various stakeholders to optimize the use of CMDB data for technology teams.
- Collaborate with ServiceNow vendor support, and internal ServiceNow architecture team concerning technical aspects of
annual upgrade, patch installation and hot fixes.
- Provide input to ServiceNow solution roadmaps and work programs.
- Oversee and validate System Administrators translation of business requirements to technical requirements on
development and configuration.
- Consult and confirm business requirements with Business Analysts, Process Owners and business counterparts on a
required basis.
- Provide input for negotiating IT asset contracts and purchasing agreements.
- Assist with budget forecasting and cost-saving initiatives related to IT assets.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of operational documentation and standard operating procedures to reduce
support risk and inefficiency.
**What you bring**
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in IT Asset Management related functions.
- Understanding of principles and best practices in IT Asset Management.
- In-depth knowledge of ITAM principles, practices, and framework (e.g., ITIL, ISO19770).
- Functional knowledge of ServiceNow regarding Foundation Data, ITSM Application / Process utilisation, Configuration
Management Database Model, Asset Management Model, Knowledge base Configuration, Request Management
Architecture, and Service Level Management.
- Solid understanding and working knowledge of infrastructure / network support, and system integrations.
- Strong understanding of software licensing models, compliance requirements and contract management.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM), Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM, ITIL,
ServiceNow) are considered as assets.
- Ability to engage stakeholders, facilitate discussions, and provide sound advice solutions.
- Familiarity with asset management software and tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
of an organization.
- Ability to work independently and part of a Team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and business acumen.
- Experience working in a large corporation will be considered an asset.
