**LOCATION**: Toronto (M5J 0A3)
**STATUS**: Full-time
**JOB OVERVIEW**

We are currently seeking a Portfolio Analyst to join our CI Multi-Asset Management team.
**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Primary contact and responsibility for portfolio trading, operations and risk management groups for CIMAM
- Build/integrate and maintain trading, operations and risk management processes and tools
- Assist in managing all CI’s managed solutions including Portfolio Series, Portfolio Select Series, Evolution, and institutional and LifeCycle portfolios with supervision of CIO and portfolio managers
- Initiate trades for rebalancing, cash flow management, asset mix change purposes
- Work closely with manager research and portfolio management to select and weight existing and new strategies in models
- Provide Investment Committee with performance attribution and risk management reporting and insights on an ongoing basis
- Support Investment Committee on ongoing and ad hoc research
- Support product, marketing and sales team with information on CIMAM portfolios
- Write commentary on a quarterly and ad-hoc basis
**WHAT YOU WILL BRING**
- 2+ years of full-time experience in the investment industry
- Experience in a multi-asset or macro focused team is preferred
- Undergraduate degree, preferably in business, economics or finance
- Enrolment or successful completion of the CFA designation
- Enrolment or completion of Futures and Options Licensing courses
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Good understanding of the investment industry regulations, NI 81-102
- Experience using Bloomberg, Charles River, Barra and FactSet and ability to learn new trading, portfolio management and risk management tools
- Advanced Excel, knowledge of programming language skills a plus
- Effective time-management and ability to learn, prioritize, and execute quickly
- Some knowledge of industry back-office practices and financial markets and instruments
- Work effectively and reliably under pressure with mínimal supervision
- Solid conceptual and problem-solving skills
- Strong logic and analytical skills to clearly identify key issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
