**Job description**

Creekside Greens, Kemptville’s first locally-owned cannabis store is looking for a part-time Budtender.

A **Budtender** supports the entire team as the main point of contact for customers and will strive to create a store environment that is both insightful and welcoming to every customer, every time.

To be successful in this role you must have a passion for engaging with customers and creating an open and friendly environment. Your vision is to educate and guide customers on recreational cannabis with the ultimate goal of providing an exceptional experience to anyone that walks through the door.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Processing transactions and customer orders
- Responding to customer inquiries with product knowledge and accuracy
- Adhere to all company training, operation standards and procedures
- Abide by all company and provincial regulations and requirements for the sale of cannabis and associated products
- Complete tasks as assigned by the store managers
- Putting together customer orders as they are placed
- Maintaining a clean and organized stockroom
- Reporting any inventory discrepancies
- Maintaining inventory and stocking as product shipments arrive
- Continual development of product and industry knowledge.

**Requirements**:

- Must be 19 years of age or over
- Criminal background check (Must pass prior to employment offer)
- CannSell Training Certificate (Must pass prior to employment offer)
- Eagerness to learn
- Related product knowledge an asset
- Demonstrate high levels of integrity and responsibility
- Experience in handling and utilizing POS systems an asset. (Additional training for the Cannabis POS system will be provided)
- Experience in a similar role with sales and customer service experience in retail or hospitality with extensive customer-facing interaction
- Willingness and eagerness to learn the ever-changing products
- Positive and outgoing personality to ensure a high level of customer interaction and satisfaction
- Ability to multitask
- Organizational skills to maintain efficiencies
- Meet the physical demands of a retail environment including transporting up to 11 kg

**Salary**: $16.55-$18.50 per hour

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.55-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
