**Job Title: Disability Support Worker - For a male client**

**Hours**: **Monday through Friday 5:00pm-11:00pm**

**Location: Edmonton Southeast**

**Duties/Responsibilities**:
**-**Assisting clients with daily living skills
- Community access
- Performing personal care (bath assists, shaving, toileting)
- Administering medication
- Light housekeeping & simple meal preparation
- Working as a part of a residential team
- Dealing with behaviors
- Maintaining appropriate documentation and records

**Qualifications**:

- Experience working with people with disabilities _**required.**_
- Ability to deal effectively with behaviors an **_asset._**
- Experience working with personal care an **r_equired_._**
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check and two work related references _**required.**_
- Minimum of Emergency First Aid with CPR level A _**required.**_
- Vehicle, valid driver’s license and Third Party $2million liability insurance _**required.**_
- Valid work/study permit (if applicable) _**required.**_

**-**Willing to complete 2 ½ days of mandatory training.
- Willing to travel anywhere within Edmonton
- Full Covid-19 vaccination **_required_**

**-Must **speak Somali

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
