Brantford, Canada Conklin Family Dental Full time

Welcome to Conklin Family Dental. We pride ourselves on providing top-quality dental care in a warm and welcoming environment. Our team is dedicated to enhancing the oral health and smiles of our patients. With our state-of-the-art, digital dental, patient care-first, and well-established office, we are confident in our ability to provide top-tier dental services.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Dental Office Manager to join our team. The Office Manager is responsible for the overall operations, development, efficiency and effectiveness of all deliverables within our clinic. You will play a critical role in enhancing practice performance, leading your team, and increasing patient care. The Office Manager should be highly organized, self-motivated, with great leadership and interpersonal skills.

**Here’s what your day to day will look like**:
Approximately 50% of your time will be spent supporting our patients through:

- Representing Conklin Family Dental via your stellar customer service skills, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for our patients.
- Managing the details: making sure follow-up appointments are booked, treatment coordination is done, billings have been processed, and that nothing slips through the cracks.
- Communicating complex dental concepts clearly to both patients and colleagues, helping them understand the “what” and the “why” when necessary. Familiarity with dental procedures (including benefits and risks) will help make our patients more informed, so previous experience in a dental environment would be beneficial.

Approximately 50% of your time will be spent supporting the business operations:

- Overseeing day-to-day operations of the dental office, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient patient scheduling.
- Managing a small team of 2 other administrative staff, ensuring appropriate scheduling coverage and a supportive team environment. This also includes approving vacation time, scheduling staff hours, etc.
- Responsible for inventory of supplies, placing orders online, and ensuring we have all the tools we need to provide the best possible care for our patients

**These will help you be successful**:

- 5+ years of previous experience in a dental/medical office administration/management role
- Experience managing a team, since you’ll be working alongside them every day
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Expert-level organizational skills: you have lists upon lists, and to-do’s and calendars are your jam
- A passion for patients. You love supporting patients and making their day just a little bit brighter through their experience with you. De-escalation or conflict resolution skills are helpful for when things get heated.
- **Benefits**:_
- We offer competitive hourly wages as well as a bonus incentive program to reward exceptional performance.
- In-house dental benefits to take care of your oral health needs
- Paid leave to support your work-life balance.
- Scrubs/dress allowance to maintain a professional appearance.
- Paid continuing education to further enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Team-building activities and social events.
- **How to Apply**:_

**Benefits**:

- Paid time off

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Dental/Medical Office Administration: 5 years (preferred)
