Construction Safety Officer (CSO)

We are looking for an individual who will provide health and safety leadership and promotes a culture of health and safety commitment to our site in Port Coquitlam. We are looking for an ambitious, organized, individual with an above standard high attention to detail to see perfectly executed finishes.

Your Work Will Revolve Around

Daily
- Administering first aid
- Formal project site inspections
- Providing safety and environmental guidance and support
- Executing Incident Reports
- Reviewing and tracking tool box minutes and Hazard Assessment forms
- Reviewing Site Safety Inspection Reports and all safety equipment and material
- Completing Safety Orientations and new safe work procedures
- Reviewing trade safety plans and WorkSafe procedures

Monthly
- Providing Project Statistics (Accident) Reports
- Preparing trend analysis and monthly reports
- Reviewing Construction and Trade Safety Correspondence
- Maintaining the Construction Health & Safety Manual

What You Have
- A CSO certification
- Industrial First Aid Level 2 certification
- Strong organization and people skills
- A trade background (preferred)
- Equipment/Machinery certifications an asset (bobcat/forklift/Zoomboom)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
