**Business Development Manager.** This is a permanent, full time, remote position.

HumaTerra products can be applied wherever the ground has been disturbed. Therefore, we’re expanding the markets we serve from agriculture to energy, forestry and horticulture.

**What will you be accountable for**:

- Strategic development of regional sales and marketing plans
- Working with agriculture retailers and producers
- Setting up budgets
- Achieving sales targets
- Recruiting and retaining sales and account staff
- Using our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system

**Who are we looking for**:
Due to our culture of autonomy and innovation, there’s opportunity to shape the role to your experience and aspirations. Our core requirements are:

- An interest in soil science and microbiology
- Coaching skills
- Five years of experience in agriculture retail
- Sales strategy expertise
- The ability to overcome challenges and to identify and seize opportunities (problem solving)
- Communication style versatility
- Capability to build rapport through public speaking/presentations
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Post-secondary education in marketing (or equivalent sales experience with a professional certification)
