Join us as our Quality Assurance (QA) Manager

**Position Summary**:
The QA Manager is responsible for the Quality Management System and Technical Services including continuous improvement process to ensure product performance and compliance to quality, food safety and regulatory requirements under which the business operates. The QA Manager oversees the QA technician and FSQA Specialist duties and performance. The QA Manager will collaborate with the Plant Manager to ensure that proper quality testing is performed by QA Inspectors and production staff. The incumbent must be well-organized and capable of interacting in a professional manner with both internal and external business partners. The role involves maintaining adherence to GMP/AIB, Health and Safety Standards, and company regulations across all processes and personnel.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the Quality Control Department, ensuring proper testing and staff performance.
- Oversee non-conformance investigations and customer complaint resolutions.
- Maintain supplier raw material quality and ensure product compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, audits, and corrective actions.
- Approve manufacturing specifications and monitor product consistency throughout its lifecycle.
- Conduct quality training sessions for employees and support technical development.
- Manage certification efforts, GMP, HACCP, and food safety programs.
- Oversee documentation management, including manufacturing specs, test methods, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead internal and external audits, coordinate recertification processes, and maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Other duties as assigned

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- Certificate or Diploma in Food Safety, HACCP and/or Food Safety & Quality Assurance Management
- Minimum 5 years as a QA Manager
- Experience in Flexible Packaging or Food Packaging industry is an asset
- Lean Manufacturing, 5S or Six Sigma principles an asset
