The Forensic Service at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is a growing and vibrant clinical program of over 190 inpatient beds, court and community programs, a sexual behaviors program and a correction-based mental health service. We have strong research involvement in multiple areas including correctional mental health, sexual behaviors, neurobiology of aggression, risk and secure recovery.

**Position Description**

**Job Requirements**
- PhD in Clinical Psychology, Criminology or a related field
- Minimum of three years post-doctoral / post-graduate or equivalent experience (5 or more years of independent research experience preferred)
- Experience leading measurement based care initiatives is preferred
- Research and/or evaluation experience in applied clinical contexts is required, and experience working with a forensic mental health patient population is strongly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills and function well within a cooperative, collaborative working environment.
- Ability for self-directed learning/working, while working concurrently on multiple projects
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, seeking advice and support when needed
- Ability to work effectively in a wide range of settings with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated experience partnering and engaging with various stakeholder groups, including people with lived experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively to improve the quality of care for our clients in a research setting, within an inter-professional team are essential
- A proven track record and aptitude in scientific publishing
- Demonstrated experience developing and/or collaborating on successfully funded competitive grant proposals is preferred
- Experience supervising and overseeing staff and students
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and the academic community
