- Assist customers in selecting eyeglasses and contact lenses based on their prescription and personal preferences
- Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features to ensure proper fit of eyewear
- Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and frame materials
- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed
- Process orders for eyewear and contact lenses
- Maintain inventory of frames, lenses, and other optical supplies
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns

- Previous experience as an Optometrist assistant or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to optometry is a plus
- Strong retail sales skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures for lens fabrication is beneficial
- Proficiency in using Epic or other electronic health record systems is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
