**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling as necessary.
- Assist optometrists during examinations by preparing patients and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and update patient information as needed.
- Provide education to patients regarding eye care products and services available in the practice.
- Handle front desk responsibilities, including answering phones, responding to inquiries, and managing patient flow.
- Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards and maintain confidentiality of patient information.

**Skills**
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Previous experience in optometry or a medical office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems; experience with Visual-Eyes is a plus.
- Strong patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Experience in front desk operations and managing appointment schedules is preferred
- Knowledge of optical products and services is beneficial; retail sales experience is a plus.
- Understanding of medical terminology related to optometry and eye care practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
