Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator needed for busy, well-established excavation company located in Pickering.

**TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION**: Industrial, Commercial and Institutional

**EXPERIENCED IN OPERATING**: Excavator, Loader, Bulldozer, Front End Loader and Compactor

**APPLICANT/JOB REQUIREMENTS**:
Sewer Watermain & Site Services experience an asset

**_*must submit prior to start of work: _**
- Worker Health & Safety Awareness in 4 steps certificate
- valid Confined Space Awareness certificate
- valid WHMIS certificate
- First Aid certificate (an asset)

**DUTIES INCLUDE, but not limited to**:
*Fine Grading and Finishing

*Sloping and banking

*Backfilling/Excavating

*Haul Road Maintenance

*Land Cleaning

*Rough Grading

*Stock Piling

*Stripping

*Sub-grade Excavating

*Sub-grade Rolling

*Trenching

*Material Handling

*Slope Grooming

**Other duties**:
*clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks

*operate computer-controlled equipment (Topcon GPS)

*conduct pre-operational checks on equipment

*secure special attachments to equipment

*perform minor repairs to equipment

*utilize safety data sheets

**Own Tools/Equipment**: PPE, steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles
**SALARY**: Based on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $36.00 per hour
