As a business financial analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing several plant accounting components. In collaboration with the various departments, you will be called upon to represent the Accounting Department in several areas: investments, process control, project monitoring, production cost, and others. Reporting to the ELIP Business Controller, you will examine business performance, including financial modelling to predict impacts and risks, and recommend areas for continuous improvement.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Perform the analysis of various investment projects and carry out the follow up.
- Carry out various cost-related analyses.
- Participate in the budget process and in the elaboration of the standard production costs.
- Actively participate in the month-end process.
- Draw up and analyze the inventory and efficiency reports.
- Supervise and monitor inventory maintenance.
- Develop and monitor the internal control processes.
- Ensure effective communication with all the teams to identify and discuss problems and suggestions for improvement.

**Your background**:

- Professional affiliation: chartered professional accountant.
- Have 3 to 5 years of experience in cost price.
- Extensive knowledge of the basic accounting procedures and principles.
- Experience with the functions associated with the general ledger and with the month-end/year-end closing process.
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to establish relationships between multiple parts of a problem or situation.
- Excellent skills in the use and administration of accounting software.
- Excellent knowledge of the KBM system and of Tops, an asset.
- Ability to work in a team and in cooperation with others to achieve organizational goals.
- Bilingual (French and English).
