ABB Installation Products (ELIP) provide customers with engineered installation and safety solutions, which are easier to design, install and maintain - providing sustainable and superior performance for continuous operation throughout their life span. As a Business Financial Analyst, you will provide financial analysis expertise to the ABB Electrification Canada ULC in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Qc. You will join the planning and forecasting team in performing analysis and financial support. This position is located in Saint
- Jean-sur-Richelieu and you will report to the Controller, Financial Planning & Reporting, LBU.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Working with other finance professionals at the division head office to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance, while identifying trends relevant to the business.
- Supporting the preparation of relevant budgeting and forecasting documents and presentations by providing summary data, reports, findings, analyses, and recommendations.
- Optimizing performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplication and coordinating information requirements.
- Prepare various business analysis and reports on an Ad-Hoc, Monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Support controller in providing ad hoc financial information upon request.
- Provide support to various functions in the business related to financial results and KPIs.
- Consolidation analysis where required.
- Involvement in business process improvement on defined/identify action plan.

**Your background**:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with CPA certification.
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in an Financial Analyst role.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask and demonstrate flexibility with sound decision making.
- Experience with computerized accounting systems and financial reporting software, including MS Office with advanced Excel knowledge, SAP/Oracle or equivalent ERPs.
- Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask.
- Strong financial, accounting analytical skills and good judgement. Good sense of initiative with pro-active skills.
- High ability to adapt to change and ad-hoc request with ability to work in a multi-task environment with strength in working with tight schedule.
- Writing and oral communication skills: Bilingual: French and English (Good understanding and speaking skills no need to be perfectly bilingual).
