**_Position Overview:_**

**_*The work schedule is 4x10s, Monday-Thursday from 7am to 5:30pm but it will soon be switching to 3x12s, either Sun-Tues or Wed-Fri. You would work 3 on, 4 off, 36 hours per week and get paid for 40._**

ACQBUILT is seeking a Material Handler (Loader) to join the Floors Line team inside the factory. The Material Handler is responsible for the safe operation of lifting devices, overhead cranes and swivel hooks in order to load and unload materials used in the fabrication of building components and completed wall panels. He/she under close supervision performs simple, routine, and repetitive tasks involving physical labor and is required to operate machinery as well as hand and power tools. The Level I Material Handler is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of lifting devices such as the butterfly and transfer table or forklifts according to established procedures, following all safety protocols and workplace policies. He/she is responsible for quality control in his/her area. The Level I Material Handler has a responsibility to ensure preventive maintenance, safety, 5S and that cleanliness standards are followed in his/her work area.

**_Responsibilities Include:_**
- Operating lift devices such as overhead cranes, hoists, elevating platforms, lift beams and swivel hooks.
- Manually loading and unloading materials from pallets, skids, platforms and lifting devices.
- Support inventory control with accurate documentation.
- Maintaining safety standards in the workplace.
- Following quality control procedures.
- Informing his team leader or supervisor about any issues that may negatively impact production.
- Ensuring that the required materials and supplies are available.
- Participating actively in problem solving sessions, continuous improvement initiatives.

**_Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:_**
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Forklift and Overhead Crane experience desired, but not necessary - Training will be provided by ACQBUILT.
- Work well with others and follow direction.
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and manners.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
