Fasten your seatbelt and get ready to take your career to the next trip The **Communications Intern,** under the direction of the Director of Global Communications and Digital Channels, you will be responsible for creating and disseminating internal and external communications materials. This position will also draft, edit, and submit press releases advertorials, presentation, blogs, website copy.

***Your responsibilities as a Communications Intern at Fix Network;**:

- Draft, edit and disseminate internal and external communications, including online communications
- Plan, develop, and execute communications consistent with organizational policies and procedures
- Ensure all materials are developed and distributed according to timelines and deadlines
- Measure the effectiveness of communications
- Produce reports for internal analysis
- Assist in articulating the organizational mission and vision statements
- Understand and use media forms and format requirements
- Research and help to develop and implement new communications programs, including social media and intranet
- Provide editing services to ensure that all communications are appropriately worded (both in grammar and in content)
- Identify audience and appropriate formats for media
- Other duties as assigned

**For this position you will need**:

- Currently enrolled in communications or public relations program,
- Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Works well with others, and handles direction and criticism in a positive manner
- Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly and ensure they are clearly communicated to an audience
- Knowledge of the principles of effective communications and mass media
