Principales fonctions:
Relevant du superviseur des opérations, l’opérateur de machinerie lourde travaille principalement à l’extérieur et gère l’approvisionnement aux quais. Il doit conduire et opérer de façon sécuritaire des équipements lourds tels que les camions remorques, la pelle mécanique ainsi que des chariots rotatifs et les chariots à fourches. Il peut aussi être appelé à travailler dans l’usine comme cariste ou manutentionnaire.

Plus spécifiquement il doit:

- Reculer les remorques de marchandises aux quais et assurer l’alimentation de la marchandise en continu
- Se servir de la pelle mécanique pour compresser et détruire certaines marchandises
- Déplacer, transporter et gérer les charges de façon sécuritaire selon les directives du superviseur
- Appliquer des méthodes de travail sécuritaire afin de prévenir tout accident ou incident pouvant nuire à la santé et à la sécurité des travailleurs et livreurs
- Faire le chargement et le déchargement des marchandises
- Tout autre travail connexe

**Qualifications**:

- 2 à 4 ans dans un poste d’opérateur de machinerie lourde
- Sens de l’organisation
- Proactif et polyvalent
- Aptitude à travailler en équipe
- Sens des responsabilités
- Appliquer les règles et les politiques de l’entreprise en matière de sécurité et de qualité
