Barista

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing coffee and other drinks but also creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. If you love coffee and enjoy interacting with people, this is the perfect opportunity for you. This position is not suitable for a student day time hours are required.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety guidelines during handling and serving.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience.

**Qualifications**
- Previous Barista experience.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is desirable.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with customers positively.
- A passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods.
