Café Supervisor

**We are currently seeking a Cafe supervisor for our Stratford location. **The position reports to the Cafe Manager. The successful applicant will be direct support to the Manager for all aspects of Café operation. A commitment and passion for customer service is critical. Key responsibilities will include:

- Supervision of daily operations and ability to take the lead role during times of absence of the Manager
- Providing support and contributions to the interviewing, hiring, and training of new employees
- Mentoring and Lead by example philosophy and practice that will retain and develop the team
- Maintain a positive work environment
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Ability to preparing work schedules and assign specific duties
- Maintaining of customer service and Café cleanliness standards
- Contribute to the successful financial performance and accountability of the Café
- Ability to do all ordering, inventory and payroll, in particular during times of absence of the District Manager
- Resolve customer concerns
- Take a lead role in assuring Safety and elements of Risk Management
- Being an Ambassador for all company products and practices

Qualifications:

- Previous experience supervising or managing a team of employees
- Barista experience preferred
- Minimum one experience in a related position

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability
