Your Opportunity:
Alberta Health Services (AHS) Emergency Medical Services (EMS) requires a Clinical Educator (CE). The primary objective of the CE is to deliver training to EMS direct delivery staff, project management and direction in areas such as transfer of learning, curriculum development, simulation, clinical support and other portfolios that support EMS Learning & Development. Travel within the zone and to other zones may be required. Primarily working weekdays, the Clinical educator may be required on occasion to work weekends and evenings as well.

**Required Qualifications**:
**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Minimum of five years Advanced care paramedic field experience and the ability to maintain clinical exposure through field shifts. Equivalent healthcare qualifications may be considered. Experience in the delivery of adult education in the classroom learning (education) specific to adult education. Ability to perform full duties of an Advanced Care Paramedic in the field.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Post-Secondary Education - certificate, diploma, degree in a related field (Adult education, Online learning). Instructor certification in ACLS, ACLS-EP, PALS, ITLS, NRP, CPR, NVCI, and TWMFR. Project Management certificate. Ability to demonstrate professional practice and leadership. Education or experience in AV/computer software (photography, video, Lectora, Captivate). Education or experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
