We invest in our people because they are the reason for our success.For more information, check out this video about . What You Will DoWith a passion for care towards residents, families and team members, the Clinical Educator is accountable for practicing outstanding care and support to residents, resident families, team members and volunteers to the full scope of professional nursing practice, and to ensure that their conduct meets the standards of the profession and of Bethany Care Society to deliver resident centered care planning, implementation and evaluation. Individual responsibilities will fall under five main areas of focus:Resident-Centered Care : Promotes service excellence through coordinating the assessment, planning, design, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of clinical education programs and policies to promote resident centered careDocumentation: Accurate, comprehensive, and timely documentation of education records, statistics, evaluations and reportsSafety: Contributes to a safe environment for residents, the team and self by understanding and adhering to safety guidelines and practices at all timesPro-active Learner: Demonstrates the vision and values of Bethany and lives out the mission of Creating Caring CommunitiesTeam Work: Cares for and actively participates and assists other employees to achieve and maintain a responsible atmosphere of resident centered careWhat You BringGraduated from an accredited Nursing School with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degreeActive Registration and in good standing with CARNA3-5 years nursing experience requiredAt least 3 years experience in Clinical Education with Palliative Care Education as an assetExperience working in Long Term Care and Dementia preferredDegree or Certificate in Adult Education would be considered an assetGerontology Nursing Experience would be considered an assetAbility to work effectively in a physically and mentally demanding environmentExperience with technology and learning an assetDemonstrated ability to understand, speak, read and write effectively in EnglishCurrent CPR certification requiredStrong working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of RAI/MDS 2.0 tool, computer skills and electronic documentation is preferablePosition Information:Posting Number: 25-9398Position Number: CDR-CP33-025Location: Bethany Calgary Classification: Clinical EducatorFTE: 1.00 Non-UnionDepartment/Unit(s): VariousPosition Type: Full-Time TemporaryTemporary End Date: February 28, 2026 Hours of Work: Days (0800-1615 hours)Hours Per Shift: 7.75 hoursShift Per Cycle: 10 shifts per 2 weeks cycleShift Pattern: DaysPosition Start Date: Pending applicationPosting End Date: Until filled
