Ratio Staff/early Childhood Assistant

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Assistants to join our team as a **Ratio Staff**. As an Early Childhood Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children between the ages of 1 and 6. Your role will involve providing close supervision of the children and perform activities with the children to promote the development of physical, cognitive, emotional, and social skills.

**Duties**:

- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child's unique needs
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in an early childhood education setting is preferred
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vulnerable Sector Criminal Check
- A valid Standard First Aid with Level C CPR
- Up to Date Immunization
- Available to work flexible hours Monday to Friday between the hours of **2:00pm - 6:00 pm**

Pay: $22.00 per hour
