Kiosk/beverage Cart Server

University Golf Club (UGC) are seeking a **Full Time/Seasonal Kiosk/Beverage Cart Server **to join our diverse team located at **5185 University Boulevard, Vancouver, BC**.

**Job Summary**

The _**Kiosk/Beverage Cart server's **_primary responsibility is to provide quality customer service, greet & serve guests in a friendly/professional manner, set up assigned cart or kiosk with appropriate inventory, and maintain knowledge of beverage prices & promotions. They work mostly on their own, with exception to certain events planned.

Additional duties include processing payment, tracking & restocking inventory and maintaining a clean work station. Kiosk and golf cart server’s report daily to the Food and Beverage manager or Restaurant Manager on duty. Inventory checks provided daily by management

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.**
- Services aspects in specific food and beverage assigned areas and operations and acknowledges, greets and thanks all staff and guests
- Services restaurant to ensure proper room preparation, execution, and clean up
- Focuses on tasks centered on daily operations including floor service, guest relations, teamwork, cleaning, order taking, payment processing, serving food and drink, and adhering to Club policies and procedures
- Attends seasonal training and orientation
- Ensures all club and departmental policies are adhered to including: uniforms, opening/closing procedures, codes of conduct, cleaning schedules, and operational systems
- Communicates effectively with other team members
- Learns from coaching when an area is identified that needs improvement
- Utilizes empowerment to take initiative to drive sales and repeat business
- Understands the restaurant organizational chart
- Fulfills all aspects outlined in job description
- Able to use the Lightspeed POS system effectively and efficiently
- Responsible for cash/card handling procedures and provides an accurate, balanced deposit of all sales
- Strives to achieve departmental goals and adheres to the overall UGC F&B vision, mission, and core values
- Works with F&B Managers, Chef, and Events Department as required
- Communicates effectively with the food and beverage management team with a commitment to collaboration, teamwork, discussion, adaptability, and adherence
- Communicates and teams well with other departments (i.e., Banquets) ensuring assigned responsibilities are carried out
- Implements and supports all Club and departmental initiatives and programs as requested by management

**Education Requirements**:

- 1-2 years previous serving experience in customer service
- Food safe & basic golf knowledge required
- A valid _BC Driver's License_
- _Serving it Right Certification _- required by the government of B.C. for people assisting & serving alcohol. On testing at required before first working shift
- _First Aid & CPR _an asset
