**Position Summary**

We currently have an opening available for a Customs Coordinator at Calgary, AB location. This position has the important responsibility of setting up shipments to successfully clear Canada or US customs, including reviewing customs documentation, following up with the shipper, the importer of record and the customs broker to ensure the shipment successfully clears customs. This position also updates several computer systems and provides excellent customer service.

**Description & Responsibilities are as follows,**
- Set-up shipment to cross border with Canada or US Customs
- Following up with the shipper, customs broker or importer of record for missing customs documents to ensure all document is in order and submitted to Customs though our portal
- Updating shipment status in several computer systems throughout the day
- Receiving and checking documents
- Tracing Shipments
- Coordinating with customers and dispatch personnel
- Effectively communicating and interfacing with other departments to resolve issues
- Various administrative duties as assigned

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Post secondary education preferred
- Cheerful and professional in all aspects of internal/external customer relations
- Attention to detail
- Self-starter with problem solving skills
- Exceptional time management skills
- Data entry and strong keyboard skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision in a fast paced environment
- Proficient computer skills
- Prior experience in the transportation industry is an asset for this position
