**Artscape Construction Ltd creates back yard and front yard projects for commercial and residential customers that include interlock stone laying, cabana building and swimming pool installation.** **We are seeking experienced construction labourers in hardscape / interlock stone laying and in ground swimming pool installation.** **Our season is starting now Work available through winter months.** **CONSTUCTION LABOURER** **DESCRIPTION**: - Operate hand tools - Concrete saw etc. - grading land using tools accurately prior to stone laying - Measure, cut and lay interlock - cutting wood, steel as needed for job - digging using shovel or Bobcat if experienced - installation of pool kit, liner etc - Being hands-on in field construction directly involved in all aspects of project construction including planning, construction, quantity verification, and safety - Daily documentation of on-site activities and progress - Ensuring all health and safety protocols are being followed **REQUIREMENTS**: - Minimum 2 years experience - Must have knowledge and experience in the operation measurement and hand tools - Must be a hard working and self motivated - Must be able to read and follow plans and drawings - Must be able to lift, push or pull heavy objects and be able to walk and stand for long periods of time - Must know to lay and cut Interlock patterns - Must be able to read and construction drawings and plans or follow instructions - Must have a "G" class drivers license and drive to and from job site within GTA **SCHEDULE**: - 8 - 10 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday - Overtime as Required - Weekends **SALARY**: Based on experience level $25 - $35/hour **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour Schedule: - 10 hour shift - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday - Overtime - Weekend availability Ability to commute/relocate: - GTA, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Construction: 2 years (required) - Skilled Labor: 2 years (required) - Hardscape: 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: - Driver's License (required) Work Location: One location
