**The Opportunity**:
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment where you tackle complex challenges seamlessly with brokers and insurance partners
- Assess and underwrite personal lines risks in accordance with company guidelines and appetite
- Provide timely and competitive quotes for new business opportunities. Evaluate and manage renewals to ensure retention and profitability
- Build and maintain strong broker relationships to promote company products and foster business growth
- Collaborate with team members to meet or exceed production and profitability goals
- Ensure all underwriting practices adhere to regulatory and company standards
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for growth
- Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and trade shows
- Orchestrate multiple tasks, participating in the process of designing new guidelines and policies
**Here’s what you bring**:
- Use an analytical, driven, and pragmatic approach to underwriting a wide variety of risk types
- Demonstrate leadership by guiding other underwriters through their own decision making
- Independent and self-motivated, you have a broad understanding of underwriting and pricing discipline
- You have a minimum 3-5 years' experience in underwriting
