**The Opportunity**
Mobile Outreach is seeking a highly motivated Team Lead to join our department.
Mobile Outreach provides services and support related to the street-engaged population. As the Team Lead you are responsible for providing operational support, leadership, training, and administrative functions in a dynamic and challenging work environment. You will coordinate cross functional teams, help develop and maintain department efficiencies, and provide support to a variety of positions. You will perform other departmental duties as directed by the Mobile Outreach Department Manager.

Responsibilities*
- Provide leadership and communication through regular meetings
- Administer effective and efficient operation of department programs
- Recruitment, selection, training, performance management and coaching functions
- Debrief with front line staff following difficult situations and critical events
- Develop department policies and procedures
- Plan and develop response plans and flex assignments to meet the needs of community
- Collaborate with community stakeholders to enhance Mobile Outreach’s role in a Continuum of Care in conjunction with other government and Non-Government Organizations (NGO’s) to provide wrap around services for our clients
- Database management, write reports, highlight outcomes, and develop strategies to overcome challenges
- Manage assigned programs within budget limits
- Prepare and conduct presentations to Council, Committee, and Stakeholders
- Promote a positive work culture while leading staff to deliver exceptional customer service
- Support health and safety programs
- Assist with special projects
- After hours on call rotation
**You Bring**
- You bring 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role and or a background in Human Services or Emergency Services
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and teaching skills
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet established deadlines
- Experience in rapid mental health, addictions, and social disorder intervention
- Flexibility to meet changing priorities
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge and understanding of community resources
- Proficiency in data entry, management, and reporting
- Strong commitment to customer service and continuous improvement
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Experience working with diverse demographics of people
- De-escalation Training, First Aid Training, Mental Health First Aid Training, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training, Naloxone Training, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, Verbal Judo, Class 5 Driver License (or equivalent) and Defensive Driving Training is an asset
- Travel between sites will be required
**Hours**
Full Time (35 hours per week) Monday
- Friday, 0700-1500 (on call rotation of evenings and weekends is required)
