**Overview**
The Spa Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming

environment for all clients at the spa. This position involves overseeing various

therapeutic areas, including contrast therapy and beer/seaweed baths, while providing

exceptional customer service. The Spa Attendant is responsible for monitoring

sessions, maintaining facilities, and assisting clients to create a rejuvenating

experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitoring and Safety:_
- Maintain a constant presence in the contrast therapy and

beer/seaweed bath areas, closely monitoring patrons to ensure

their safety and well-being in both hot and cold environments.
- Identify and respond promptly to any signs of distress or medical

emergencies, adhering to all operational and emergency

procedures.
- Customer Interaction:_
- Greet customers warmly upon arrival for treatments, providing

information about the services, benefits, and any necessary

instructions.
- Serve customers drinks and refreshments prior to and during

treatments, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout

their spa experience.
- Facility Maintenance and Preparation:_
- Prepare and clean the contrast therapy and beer/seaweed bath

areas between sessions, ensuring a hygienic and inviting

environment for all customers.
- Maintain and operate the salt generator, refilling salt and cleaning

as required to ensure optimal performance and cleanliness of the

salt room.
- Maintain cleanliness in bathrooms and changing areas, ensuring

all facilities are stocked and well-presented.
- Operational Support:_
- Manage laundry operations related to towels and linens, ensuring

cleanliness and availability for customer use.
- Monitor and refresh the audio system to maintain a calming

atmosphere throughout the spa.

**Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other attendants and the receptionist to

coordinate smooth operations and enhance overall customer

satisfaction.
- Follow all operational protocols and health and safety regulations,

ensuring a safe environment for patrons and staI.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a spa or wellness environment is preferred,

particularly in roles involving customer service or therapeutic treatments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect

with clients and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, especially regarding

hygiene and safety standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks

eIectively.
- Current First Aid certification, or the willingness to obtain certification

shortly after employment.
- Work Environment:_

This position involves morning and evening shifts in a spa setting, requiring flexibility to

work weekends and holidays. The role may involve standing for extended periods and

handling physical tasks related to service preparation and cleaning.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
