Key Areas of Responsibility: *
- Provide an exceptional client experience to both new and existing clients through Group Retirement and Insurance sales and services
- Identify opportunities by finding and procuring new Group Retirement prospects
- Contact individual retirement plan members by phone on a regularly scheduled basis, reviewing their pension and investment options
- Create sales by initiating contact, developing, and nurturing relationships, recommending customized and innovative solutions, and closing the sale
- Maintain accounts, input, and track communication with plan members in CRM
- Prepare and provide presentations for existing and prospective clients
- Provide administration training and support to plan administrators
- Liaise with fund companies
- Identify product changes and improvements by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
- Work with the Group Benefits team for inclusive service to plan members
- Travel when necessary to service the new and existing client base

- Ability to maintain complete confidentiality
- Ability to work with a high level of detail
- Ability to be a self-starter, take initiative and work independently
- Ability to meet deadlines and targets
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work successfully in a team or an autonomous environment
- Experience in the Investment and Insurance industry
- Current Life License is an asset
