Reporting to the Principal, the Early Childhood collaborates with teachers in order to provide high quality and effective play-based education to support enhanced academic learning and cognitive, emotional and social development for children.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Effective January 1 2011, CUPE members must pre-qualify for all postings. This means that you must have all of the minimum qualifications listed on the job description (or be granted equivalency) prior to the closing date of the posting, in order to be considered eligible for the position. Testing and equivalency reviews will not be granted after the closing date of any competition.

Two (2) year college diploma in Early Childhood Education

One (1) to three (3) years childcare experience in an educational setting

Registered member and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators

Current First Aid/CPR certification

French as a Second Language (FSL)
