**WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE (Day Shift) - DISTRIBUTION CENTER**

**(Day Shift 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday)**

Get ready to build your career as we continue to build our company. As a valuable member of our team your duties will include:

- Assisting with warehouse operations both inside the warehouse and outside in the yard
- Receives merchandise into computer system using bar codes
- Checks packing slips and notes any discrepancies and checks merchandise for damage
- Verifies freight on shipments and tracks merchandise shipping arrangements as required
- Accurately assemble orders using stand up order pickers and electronic warehouse system
- Palletize orders and wrap items in a manner that suits space requirements and eliminates any damage to merchandise
- Operates forklift in a safe manner
- Performs general cleanup and maintenance as required both inside the warehouse and outside in the yard
- Show a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Be dependable & detail orientated
- Be physically able to repeatedly lift/carry over 50lbs as there is constant standing, bending stretching and lifting
- The ability to work in a fast paced team environment is essential
- Previous experience is preferred and knowledge of building materials is an asset but not required
- Valid Class 5 drivers license
- Be available to work 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday
