**Job duties and responsibilities**:

- General Plant Maintenance:

- Sweeping, dusting, painting, etc.
- Plant & Parking Lot Cleanliness
- Disposal of Garbage as Required to Bins
- Disposal of Strapping as Required to Bins
- Ensure Parking Lot is Free of Nails / Bolts, etc. To the best of your ability
- Landscaping Maintenance:

- Lawn Care

o Assist with Snow Removal

o Salting Walkways

o Fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks etc.)
- Carry out inspections of the facilities (heating, plumbing, alarm systems, ceiling, furniture, appliances, electrical and mechanical systems) to identify and resolve issues and schedule repairs
- Obtain quotes and tenders from vendors and suppliers
- Calculate and compare costs for goods and services to maximize cost-effectiveness
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
- Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
- Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs
- Keep Records of any Sub-contract work or Maintenance in Plant or Facility in General
- Confer with President or EVP as required for plant maintenance costs as required
- Repair work:
o Identify and report the need for major repairs

o Repair equipment or appliances
- Plumbing as required, repair and maintenance to plant and office washrooms as necessary
- Office Repairs - repairs to carpeting as required, window coverings as required, door handles, light fixtures, replace light bulbs and sockets, etc.
- Visit each branch office of the Roma Fence Group periodically each month
- Undertake activities of pest control
- Confer with President or EVP regarding expenses for purchases for maintenance and repair required

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**

3-5 years experience in maintenance field is an asset.
