Exceldor Cooperative is currently seeking a **Quality Control Technician** for its plant located in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville. Reporting directly to the Quality Control Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and verifying various items in quality programs, prerequisite programs, HACCP plans and critical control points, and evaluating and interpreting the results.
- Job type Permanent- Starting date- As soon as possible- Salary- Working conditions for administrative and technical staff, class 3;**Responsabilities**:

- Detect, evaluate, investigate and document non-conformity to ensure deviations are closed (corrective and preventive measures);
- Inspect products during production to ensure that they comply with standards (quality and HACCP);
- Initiate corrective actions with the stakeholders concerned;
- Carry out tests and analyses to compile the results and ensure that employees comply with good manufacturing practices and the quality of finished products;
- Ensure adequate training of employees on prerequisite programs, critical control points, various tests, MPIP (Modernized Poultry Inspection Program), GMP as well as on updates and modifications of the quality system.

**Required qualifications**:

- College diploma in Food Technology, Dietetics, Chemistry-Biology, or any other equivalent training;
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role;
- Experience working in the food industry and more specifically in a HACCP and SQF environment will be considered an important asset;
- Demonstrate good analytical, synthesis and extension skills;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook);
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- A professional working proficiency in English will be considered an asset.- Group insurance
