**Wright Tree Service of Canada, Ltd.** is currently seeking a **Labourer** to start on a full-time basis in the Drayton Valley, AB area. Wright Tree Service of Canada, Ltd. provides vegetation management, storm restoration, and work planning services to utility companies and their communities across the country. **Job Duties**:

- Perform all aspects of tree pruning and removal services safely and skillfully for customers.
- Including but not limited to: Pruning, thinning and removing deadwood throughout the tree canopy.
- Removal of hazardous trees.
- Snow Removal (walks clearing, bobcat/sweeper operation, snowplow and sanding truck).
- Landscape maintenance.
- Properly maintain, prepare, and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, and more.
- Assist the trimmers and foreperson in job site setup, debris removal, and cleanup.
- Follow Wright Tree Service and industry safety policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and on a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read and complete daily paperwork.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of tree maintenance and arboriculture.
- Thorough knowledge of safety in the industry, as well as the use of equipment including power and hand tools.
- Knowledge of trees, insects, and diseases.
- Experience within the tree care industry, including aerial operator and/or climbing skills, pruning experience, and tree-identification skills.
- Valid class 5 driver's license, air brakes endorsement considered an asset.
- Valid First Aid and CPR.
- Possesses the ability to lift move and maneuver up to 50 pounds on an infrequent basis and up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis.
- Ability be able to withstand exposure to all kinds of weather while completing work tasks such as rain, heat, sun, cold, snow.
