St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre is seeking a **part-time Scheduling Clerk**. This is a non-union position. We offer a competitive salary range between $24.57 - $26.35, a Defined Benefit HOOPP Pension plan, Compensation In-Lieu of Benefits, and access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Flexible shifts with the ability to work every other weekend. Operating hours of the scheduling department are currently 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the time of this posting.

**Job Summary**:

- responsible for scheduling replacement staff in the event of sick calls and/or unplanned absences in accordance with the respective Collective Agreements;
- completing payroll timesheets;
- Updating daily the time schedule changes
- monitoring sick time, absenteeism and other scheduling issues,

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum Secondary School Diploma
- Completion of Post-Secondary Education an asset
- Experience in an office environment
- Understanding and experience with information technology tools, i.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, and Financial Accounting software.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written, in situations that require tact, diplomacy, and discretion
- Three to five (3-5) years of customer service experience
- Must be detail orientated with a high degree of accuracy
- Criminal reference check for the vulnerable sector
