**Responsibilities**:

- Assist purchasing manager in selecting and purchasing thousands of types of computer products/parts.
- Coordinate with purchasing manager to determine the type of the products to be purchased and the requirements of the products.
- Conduct market research and source the potential suppliers in order to select the “best-fit” suppliers.
- Negotiate with potential suppliers, request price quotes and sample products, evaluate and analyze product quality, select suppliers based on the overall performance of the products in conformance with company standards.
- Find cost savings opportunities.Perform cost analysis with a thorough understanding of cost factors.
- Source “best value” products through domestic and international suppliers.
- Determine the quantity of products and make purchase orders.
- Communicate with suppliers to discuss price, discount and payment term as well as shipping/delivery methods.
- Visit trade shows and suppliers in order to select the “best-fit” and “best-value” products.
- Prepare and analyst monthly purchasing report and inventory report; provide valuable information to manager.
- Communicate frequently with internal and external contacts on various issues, submit claims and return to manufactures/suppliers.
