Job Summary
Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the Team Lead, Talent Acquisition will manage the day to day operation of the Talent Acquisition (TA) team and provides hands on leadership and direction for end to end recruitment function, design, implementation, and improvement that support the organizational workforce planning strategies and operational needs.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Human Resources or related field required
- Seven (7) years’ Recruitment experience required
- HRPA membership, CRHP or CHRL designations preferred, or working towards
- One (1) year experience in a leadership position required
- Three (3) years’ experience in an Unionized Environment preferred
- Sound knowledge of best Human Resources practices and employment legislation to support a strategically aligned, diverse and engaged workforce, where people are challenged, recognized and valued
- Expertise in social media and employer branding
- Commitment to continuous quality improvement and performance measurement; business acumen, accountability and results orientation
- Excellence in communication, both written and verbal
- Commitment to customer service and teamwork
- Demonstrated individual leadership skills

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the talent acquisition team with a focus on employee retention and engagement
- Recommend recruitment strategies and approaches for sourcing, attracting, and securing talent to attract and on-board top talent to the organization with a focus on diversity
- Development and implementation of social media strategy consistent with employer brand
- Leads key project and initiatives such as job fairs, industry events, new grad programs etc.
- Proactively recommends creative solutions to attract top talent to Southlake as an employer of choice
- Support the TA team in coming up with consistent strategies for hard-to-fill positions and ensure best practices are employed across the team.
- Analyze recruitment metrics and design recruitment strategies and practices that support business objectives and achieve quality of hire and time to fill metrics
- Identify and develop program, method and process improvements to increase productivity and quality
- Manages and leads recruitment activities for all management/leader level roles
- Direct research activities used to build a deeper understanding of talent needs versus capacity, and develop and improve strategies in recruitment and workforce planning
- Optimization of new hire processes in compliance with legal and regulatory union and non-union requirements
