Central Alberta Theatre is a non-profit organization that has brought entertainment to Red Deer for over 50 years. We operate our own box office located in the Red Deer Memorial Centre, the home of Central Alberta Theatre.

**Requirements**:

- Exceptional customer service, verbal and written communication skills and active listening.
- Experience working with seniors is beneficial for family-oriented events.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and able to follow instructions.
- Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Computer experience is a must.
- Knowledge of the Showpass online ticket selling platform or similar, point-of-sale equipment and digital media activities would be an asset.
- Able to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekend and on-call shifts.
- Reliable and accessible mode of transportation.
- Dress code in effect

**Responsibilities**:

- Aid patrons with the purchase of event tickets through an online ticket selling platform and point-of-sale system.
- Provide customer support services to event patrons over the phone, in-person and online in delivering a superior patron experience.
- Answering and returning phone calls and messages.
- Produce sales reports and perform cash handling and reconciliation duties.
- Assist with guest services, including providing directions and information about facilities.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies, and procedures related to ticket sales.
- Assist with lobby and entrance set up and strikes for events.
- Monitor and maintain sidewalks and entrances for safe patron traffic flow.
- Depending on demonstrated abilities other duties may include setting up ticketed events online, creating digital signage, and maintaining media content.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 40 per week
