**The Position**

**Global Alpha Capital Management Ltd.** is seeking an **Intern, Investment Analyst** to join our Team for a **4-month term** (January - April, 2025).

As an **Intern **you will be expected to:

- Perform company and industry research.
- Work with the portfolio manager on ESG analysis.
- Perform competitive intelligence analysis.
- Monitor our proxy voting process.
- Provide operational assistance as required.
- Support with various administrative tasks and project work as required.
- Attend conferences and corporate presentations.

**Qualifications and Experience**

The** Intern **position is geared toward students in their seeking an undergraduate degree with a focus on Finance and/or Economics with the desire to explore a career in the field of Investment Management.
- At least two (2) completed work terms ideally in a related field, considered an asset.
- Proven academic excellence.
- Entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong computer skills, preferably in MS Suite and especially in Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Proficiency in a second language as our customers come from all over the world.
- Enrollment in the CFA program preferred.
