Baker Gilmore is looking for an intern to join its Montreal based investment management team for a 4-month internship during the summer semester (May-August). This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a group of senior investment professionals and participate in all aspects of the asset management process including macro research, credit research & risk analysis.

**What You Will Do**
- Work closely with portfolio management team to carry out projects that are related to our investment management process
- Analyze sovereign bond rates, corporate credits, currencies, and relevant derivatives
- Assist with model and tool development for use in the portfolio management process
- Participate in the weekly Investment Management Committee meetings

**What You Bring**
- A degree (or pursuit thereof) in finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, or actuarial sciences with strong academic track record
- Strong analytical skills and ability to think critically and creatively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (knowledge of a programming language a plus)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the desire to work as part of a small team
- Enrollment in the CFA program preferred
