We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals with an entrepreneurial flair. Help run our “off grid”, solar powered ice cream cart this summer. We’re upwardly mobile and at summer festivals including weekly farmers markets and art in the park.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enthusiastic and customer-focused, with a positive and uplifting attitude
- Strong public engagement skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Confident handling credit card and cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Scooping and serving ice cream in a fast-paced environment
- Physically capable of pushing and carrying loads up to 20kg over short distances
- Setting up and dismantling market stalls and mobile equipment
- Monitoring inventory, assisting with supply orders, and managing stock
- Flexible team player able to support general bakery operations including product packaging and front-of-house service

PERSONAL QUALITIES AND SKILLS
- Interest in baking and food
- Friendly and approachable: Being warm and welcoming helps create a positive atmosphere
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Team player
- Basic math skills
- Punctuality and reliability

EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of food handling and food safety procedures ideal
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a bakery or kitchen environment a bonus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 2.5 months

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
