Your Contribution:
As an Asphalt Laboratory Technician, you will work in collaboration with the Materials team
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Asphalt laboratory testing to match current DTI requirements - Marshall Method and Superpave Method, in both a central lab and mobile lab environment;
- Familiar with current DTI End-Result-Specification Asphalt specifications and familiarity with asphalt mix properties to propose mix changes or adjustments as needed;
- Receiving and properly recording all field samples for testing and/or holding;
- Communicate results effectively with client and Englobe supervisor; and,
Your Profile:
- Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety;
- Technical degree or diploma in civil engineering (or equivalent);
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar engineering field;
- CCIL certification considered an asset;
- Team-oriented and an excellent communicator;
- Valid driver's license; and,
- Willingness and ability to travel on a required basis.
