We are seeking a full-time **Laboratory Supervisor**in our** Moncton, New Brunswick**office. **Educational & Experience Requirements**: - Civil Engineering Degree, Civil Technician/Technologist Diploma or higher in a related field. - 5 years or more experience working in a laboratory setting. - Knowledge of CSA Concrete requirements for laboratory and field testing. - English or French speaking **Main Duties**: - Adhering to all company policies. - Oversee and coordinate daily operations of the Moncton Laboratory. - Perform testing of material samples, record and document test results in accordance with applicable CSA and/or ASTM standards while maintaining a high level of quality control. - Ensure the laboratory is maintained in a clean and professional manner. - Ensure, with the assistance of GEMTEC, that all work carried out in the laboratory is done so in a manner that is safe for all GEMTEC employees and any visitors to our laboratory. - Work with management to ensure that the equipment and training required to effectively carryout laboratory work is present. - Record test data and prepare factual reports, summaries, data sheets, or graphs for interpretation of test results. - Other duties as required, including but not limited to: - Field work during low volume periods in the laboratory. - Maintain a "team player'' attitude with all employees of GEMTEC, assisting coworkers when needed. **Position**: - Full time (37.5 hours per week) - Must have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for work related travel. - Salary range: $39,000 - $49,000 per year - Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance. - Retirement savings plan with employer match. - Paid time off and holidays.
