As an Alberta Aids to Daily Living provider, we work closely with healthcare professionals to enhance the quality of life for our patients.

**Job Description**:
Key Responsibilities:

- Assess patients' oxygen requirements and determine appropriate equipment.
- Educate patients on the use of home oxygen equipment and safety measures.
- Monitor patients' oxygen levels and adjust equipment as needed.
- Provide troubleshooting support for equipment malfunctions or patient concerns.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care for patients receiving home oxygen therapy.
- Document patient interactions, equipment usage, and any changes in treatment plans.
- Perform initial oxygen set-ups and teaching for new patients being discharged from hospital or in the community.
- Participate in emergency on-call rotation.

Qualifications:

- Current registration and good standing with your appropriate governing body.
- Strong understanding of respiratory care and home oxygen therapy.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Valid class 5 Alberta driver’s license.
