**Job Summary**
Looking to begin your journey into the work force? Needing some extra hours throughout the week during school?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Seasonal Concession Employee to join our team for the upcoming curling season at the Shamrock Curling Club.
As a Concession employee, you will be responsible for greeting the customers, taking their orders, and maintaining a clean and stocked concession area. You will also assist kitchen operations with cleaning, dishwashing, stocking and other various tasks as needed.

We are looking for an individual with a great sense of customer service and positive attitude. This person should have a desire to work as a part of a team, as well as share our vision to provide guests with the full Drift experience.

**Availability**:

- **due to the nature of the club operations, we are looking for someone available for the following**:_
Monday evenings, Friday evenings, and Saturday's as needed for special events

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions while pleasantly interacting with customers
- Handle cash transactions accurately while following cash handling procedures.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the downstairs concession area, including equipment and supplies
- Maintaining cleanliness of the upstairs lounge after dinner rush and at close
- Assist with restocking items as needed
- Assisting with dishwashing and cleaning during operating hours
- Assisting with opening and closing duties as required
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

**Experience**:

- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new tasks and responsibilities.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 12 per week
