Airport Operations Program Evaluator

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking an experienced **Airport Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME)** to assist in the development and refinement of our **Airport Operations** program. This role will involve collaborating with instructional designers to ensure the course content is up-to-date, practical, and aligned with industry standards. The SME will also be responsible for preparing and reviewing necessary documentation for **Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) submission**, ensuring that the program meets all regulatory and compliance standards.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and review comprehensive course content focused on **airport operations**, including **airside operations**, **ground handling**, **airport security**, **passenger services**, and **aviation safety**.
- Provide expert insights into the latest industry trends, including **airport technology advancements**, **regulatory changes**, and **sustainability practices** in airport operations.
- Collaborate with instructional designers to create practical learning materials, including **case studies**, **real-world airport simulations**, and **hands-on operational exercises**.
- Prepare and review documentation for **PTIB submission**, ensuring that the program complies with relevant regulatory standards.
- Ensure the curriculum is aligned with industry certifications such as **Certified Member (C.M.)** and **Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.)** through the **American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE)** or other globally recognized certifications.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in **aviation management**, **air traffic control**, **baggage handling systems**, and **emergency response planning** and integrate these updates into the curriculum.
- Offer feedback on assessments to ensure they reflect real-world challenges and opportunities in airport operations.
**Qualifications**:
- **Bachelor’s degree** in **Aviation Management**, **Airport Operations**, or a related field (Master’s degree or industry certifications preferred).
- Minimum of **5 years of experience** in airport operations or airport management.
- Strong understanding of **airside and landside operations**, **airport security protocols**, **ground services**, and **aviation regulations**.
- Familiarity with **PTIB submission** or similar regulatory processes is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex aviation operations for educational purposes.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $90.00-$100.00 per hour
