**SALARY RANGE: $70,564 - $84,500**

Reporting to the Manager of Support Services, the Food Services Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the day to day operation of the Food Services Department at our Hospitals including Patient Food Services, and Cafeteria Service (if applicable). The Food Services Supervisor enthusiastically champions the provision of quality services to our patients and customers.

**Qualifications / Skills / Abilities**:
**Required**
- Has 2 year diploma in Nutrition and Food Service Management
- Minimum 5 years management experience in an institutional food services setting
- Experience with supervision of unionized staff
- Experience with therapeutic menu development and implementation
- Excellent problem solving, decision making and organizational skills
- Membership in the C.S.N.M. is required.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office software and Excel (to be tested)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated accountability in budgeting, costing and inventory control
- Ability to respond to afterhours calls, including some evening or nights or weekends
- Valid Driver’s license and access to a reliable insurable vehicle
- Ability to travel regularly throughout Grey and Bruce Counties
- Recent satisfactory performance and attendance record
- Adherence to Brightshores ‘CARE’ Behaviours (Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, Excellence) and ‘LEAD’ Competencies (Lead by example, Empower, Achieve results, Develop others) and a commitment to a safe workplace free of violence and harassment
- Advocates and supports a culture of patient safety and demonstrates an understanding of how the department service and assigned responsibilities contribute to overall patient safety at Brightshores through patient safety knowledge, skills and attitudes

Pay: $70,564.00-$84,500.00 per year
