Founded in 2006, Vancouver College of Massage Therapy is the leading massage therapy college in North America. In addition to the college, we have a 15 room on-site student massage clinic. Our mission is to provide excellence in massage education in a supportive and collaborative learning environment. Our administrative team is small and we truly believe in our values of respect and integrity.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**

As the Administration Manager, you are a key member of our administrative team, managing and executing day-to-day college operations and supporting students, instructors and members of the administrative team through the following responsibilities.

**1. ACADEMIC SUPPORT**:Provide assistance to the academic faculty by updating attendance records, invigilating exams, preparing transcripts and creating instructor resources. Assist with instructor scheduling.

**2. STUDENT LIASON**:You are a go-to administrative person for VCMT’s students, providing direction on college-related matters.

**3.** **ADMISSIONS**:Prepare, coordinate and set-up all new students into the online database and assist with information sessions, orientation packages and contract signing. Audit student files on a regular basis to maintain accuracy.

**4. STAFF MANAGEMENT**: Hire and coach reception staff ensuring exemplary customer service.

**5. CAMPUS OPERATIONS**:Lead term rollover tasks, clean and organize classrooms, clinic, manage campus inventory and supplies, mamage room rentals and events.

**6. ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT**:Assist leadership team with administrative projects such as student manuals, student survey documents and protocol documentation. Answer incoming calls as required. Jumping on reception on occasion.

- **Have 3+ years of progressive experience in professional office administration**:

- Have excellent computer skills with extensive knowledge of Office365
- Are organized, efficient and proactive
- Are customer centric and consistently provide a high level of service
- Are a self-starter who requires little supervision
- Are a natural problem-solver with loads of common sense
- Have previous experience working with complex file management and data entry
- Have excellent command of verbal and written English, with proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Follow processes diligently, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Have a proven ability to deal with sensitive materials with tact and discretion
- Are willing to jump into whatever need taking care
- Have excellent judgment and strong problem-solving skills
