**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Help prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.
- Strong background in decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair to meet customer specifications.
- Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed during food preparation and baking processes.
- Package baked goods for sale while maintaining presentation standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production of baked items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the baking area and kitchen.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking ingredients and supplies needed for baking.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a cook is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Experience in cake decorating is a plus.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques in a restaurant or bakery setting is beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with customers when necessary.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high-quality standards.

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
